Kia ora! We're Robin + Andie, a wedding photography and film studio capturing relaxed, documentary-style weddings across Canterbury, Banks Peninsula and the South Island of New Zealand. Home for us is Akaroa, and we feel lucky to be based on Banks Peninsula, within easy reach of Christchurch and so many of the South Island's best wedding venues and destinations.
We love to capture the energy and essence of a wedding through natural, documentary photography and film. It's the ideal approach for couples who want their day to feel relaxed, real and unforced.

Our work conveys the buzzing atmosphere, spontaneous emotion, fun and friendship that make a wedding completely personal. We mindfully and discreetly observe the day, documenting your unique story as it unfolds. We favour lots of natural light, unposed moments and relaxed portraits, and wherever we can, we use New Zealand's iconic landscape as the backdrop.
Robin leads behind the lens these days, with Andie joining for two-photographer days and our combined photo and film coverage. Whichever way you book, you're in experienced hands, and we promise a collection that tells your own authentic tale, full of beautiful moments and good times shared with your closest people. Here’s what we’ll include in your wedding photography package:
From getting ready in the morning right through to party time in the evening, your photographer is 100% yours, no time limit. We'll discreetly capture natural, documentary-style photos of your day as it unfolds, along with first look, relaxed portraits, ceremony, speeches, first dance, and of course some fabulous group photos with your whānau.
You'll receive 600+ images, all personally edited with real care and creativity.
Your curated collection of high-resolution photographs arrives in a password-protected online gallery to view, download and share.
A slideshow video of the highlights from your day.
Aerial drone photos for cool group shots and a bird's-eye view of your venue.
Want two of us there?
You can add a second photographer for even more coverage and a second point of view. Available on request, just ask and we'll pop it on your quote.
All pricing includes GST, and travel is included if your wedding is in Banks Peninsula or Christchurch, New Zealand. We're always happy to travel further afield, just ask..

Wedding photography is a significant investment, as the memories captured on your wedding day are with you for a lifetime. The commitment we make in terms of time and effort reflects how important this moment is, so we limit the number of weddings that we take on each year to ensure that we are completely dedicated to you and your day.

Wedding Films
A wedding film captures something a photo can't: your partner's voice in their vows, the roar when you're announced in, the speech that had everyone in bits. You can now book a film on its own, or add one to your photography.
A 6-8 minute Narrative Highlights Film that tells the story of your day from start to finish, from getting ready through to speeches and those unforgettable dance floor antics.
You’ll also receive separate films of your personal vows and your speeches in full.
Includes a free engagement shoot, so your story starts before the day itself.
Narrative Highlights Film
A 4-6 minute Wedding Highlights Film set to music, capturing the best bits of your day, from getting ready, the ceremony, portraits, candid moments and dance floor antics.
You’ll also receive a separate film of your personal vows in full.

Every film is edited and delivered in 4K, capturing the moments, people and atmosphere that made your wedding uniquely yours.
We film weddings throughout Christchurch, Banks Peninsula, Akaroa, Canterbury and across New Zealand. If your plans take you further afield, we're always happy to travel.

Whatever the location, we advise you to get your date booked in as soon as possible… we’re often booked a year in advance and our 2027-2028 diary is filling up fast!
